Mykonos, „raiul” petrecăreților. Ghid complet de vacanță

Un fel de Mecca a destinațiilor de vacanță, Mykonos este unică prin felul în care modernul se îmbină cu tradiționalul. Plajele cu nisip alb, însorite, viața de noapte trepidantă și peisajele impresionante sunt doar câteva dintre motivele pentru care este atât de căutată, în ciuda prețurilor ridicate.

Principala așezare de pe insulă este orașul Chora, impresionant datorită caselor albe și a nenumărate lor biserici.

Mykonos este situată la 150 km est de Atena, are o suprafață de doar 90 km² și face parte din grupul Insulelor Ciclade. În timp ce coasta nordică este mai stâncoasă, în sudul insulei se găsesc plaje cu nisip. În Mykonos nu sunt râuri permanente, ci doar două lacuri artificiale care furnizează apă potabilă pe insulă.

Mykonos are foarte multe plaje, dar cele mai populare sunt:

Paranga este plaja preferată de toți. Are o apă foarte limpede, de culoarea turcoazului, și nisipul fin. Aici se află restaurantul Tasos, cu mâncăruri tradiționale la prețuri acceptabile.

Kalo Livadi e o plajă mare, căutată de familiști dar și de tineri. Când ți se face foame, merită încercate preparatele de la restaurantul Sol Y Mar.

Agios Ioannis e o plajă superbă, cu o tavernă cu măsuțe în aer liber.

Fokos este o plajă foarte retrasă, la care se ajunge pe un drum destul de anevoios. Trebuie să știi că aici nu există cluburi sau baruri pe plajă, nici măcar umbrele sau șezlonguri. Există însă o tavernă, Fokos, unde găsești salate, carne la grătar, fructe de mare și clasicele plăcinte grecești.

Panormos este o plajă frecventată mai mult de localnici, dar este foarte frumoasă.

Ce faci în Mykonos când nu mergi la plajă?

Vizitezi insula, binențeles. În primul rând orașul Chora, care e absolut încântător. Imaginile vorbesc de la sine! Tourlos este un alt sat demn de vizitat, aflat la aproximativ 15 minute de mers pe jos de Chora. Este un loc liniștit, cu puține activități.

În orașul Chora, lângă port, este Mica Veneție, o zona superbă, cu case construite chiar pe țărm, ale căror balcoane în stil venețian parcă atârnă deasupra mării. Locul e plin de terase și cafenele care-ți oferă posibilitatea să admiri un apus de soare spectaculos. Străbătând orașul la pas, vei putea admira clădirile vechi, străduțele înguste, Biserica Paraportiani și minunatele muzee. O importantă atracție turistică o reprezintă morile de vânt, un adevărat simbol al insulei Mykonos.

Petreci în cluburi. Pe insulă sunt aproape 60 baruri și cluburi, unde poți asculta de la muzica celor mai tari DJ din lume până la hit-urile anilor `70. În timpul zilei, se organizează petreceri pe plajă, în special în Psarou Beach, Paradise Beach și Super Paradise. Cele mai renumite sunt barurile Tropicana și Sunrise din Paradise Beach.

După lăsarea serii, cluburile și barurile sunt pline de persoane dornice de distracție. Cel mai renumite cluburi sunt Paradise Super, Paranga și Paradis.

Mykonos este cunoscut și pentru loialitatea sa față de minoritățile sexuale.

Mergi la shopping. Pe insulă sunt peste 260 de magazine. Găsești de toate, de la pantofi la bijuterii. Continui aventura prin buticurile cu suveniruri sau galeriile de artă.

Plimbare cu vaporașul. Vei descoperi locuri minunate, inaccesibile de pe uscat.

Scuba diving. Unul dintre cele mai populare centre de scuba diving se află pe plaja din Kalafati.

Cum ajungi la Mykonos?

Cea mai rapidă modalitate de a călători este avionul, de pe aeroportul Otopeni. Poți opta pentru curse directe tip charter sau cu escală în Atena ori Salonic, sau cu legătură din alte insule, precum Creta, Rhodos sau Santorini.

Poți ajunge pe mare, insula Mykonos având 3 porturi: portul vechi, portul nou (la 10 km nord de oraș) și portul care face legătura cu insula Delos. Feriboturile si catamaranele pleaca din portul Piraeus și Rafina, Atena. Frecvența rutelor depinde de sezon, la fel și pretul biletului și tipul de transport ales (ferry-boat, high-speed, flying dolphins).

Dacă preferi cu mașina, trebuie să parcurgi drumul până în Atena, apoi să iei un feribot care să te ducă pe insulă.

Când să mergi?

Ploile sunt rare și cad în general în lunile februarie și martie. Vremea este foarte caldă încă din aprilie și până în octombrie.
