Cea mai bună perioadă de vizitat Bahamas este între noiembrie și aprilie, cu temperaturi medii de 24 de grade Celsius. Sezonul ploios ține din iunie până în noiembrie, însă uraganele serioase sunt rare.

Pentru o experiență de neuitat, cazați-vă la celebrul Atlantis de pe Paradise Island. Nu e un simplu hotel, ci un centru al distracției. Aici se află acvariile The Dig și Ruins Lagoon, un habitat marin în aer liber de mari dimensiuni. Parcul acvatic Paradise Island’s Aquaventure are tobogane cu apă, 11 piscine amenajate și facilități de alpinism.

Cei cazați la Atlantis Royal Towers pot înota cu delfinii la Dolphin Cay. Atlantis Paradise Resort are 21 de restaurante și 19 baruri, printre care se numără Nobu, care oferă preparate japoneze rafinate. Sala de fitness are o suprafață de 1000mp.

În top atracții în Bahamas se află călătoria pe insula Big Major Cay, acolo unde se află celebrii porci care înoată. Există companii care realizează excursii de o zi către această insulă sălbatică, unde se mai află și iguane și alte vietăți.
