Clanul Hadid - familia care a cucerit podiumul

Patriarhul clanului, Mohamed Hadid (72 de ani), e unul dintre cei mai apreciați afaceriști din lumea imobiliarelor. Iar trei dintre cei cinci copii ai săi sunt angrenați deja în lumea modellingului. Fos­ta lui soție, fostul model olandez Yolanda Foster (pe care o știți probabil din The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), și cele două fiice ale ei, Gigi și Bella, le fac deja concurență lui Kris Jenner și fetelor ei la fiecare show important de modă, iar Anwar Hadid, mezinul familiei, a intrat și el în lumea modei.

Acum câțiva ani, puțini erau cei cărora numele Hadid le suna cunoscut, dar azi Gigi, Bella și Anwar țin toate paginile tabloidelor și ale revistelor de modă. Care să fie secretul succesului lor? Frumusețea, banii și expunerea mediatică!

Cum a început totul

Povestea lui Mohamed Hadid începe în Palestina, în 1948, an care coincide cu nașterea statului Israel. Atunci, familia Hadid a decis să plece în Siria, unde au trăit cu toții într-o tabără de refugiați vreme de câteva luni. Destinul lui Mohamed s-a schimbat datorită unei partide de… table. Pentru că Hadid Sr. a câștigat în fața ambasadorului Iordaniei, familia a primit vize pentru Statele Unite și așa a început aventura americană a celui ce avea să devină, peste ani, magnatul imobiliarelor.

Mohamed avea atunci 15 ani și un milion de idei: voia să devină arhitect, inginer, artist, dar în primul rând era dotat pentru afaceri. În timp, a făcut de toate: a proiectat cluburi de noapte, vile pentru bogătași, a importat mașini, și-a pierdut aproape toată averea și a făcut-o la loc… Unul dintre cele mai importante momente ale vieții sale avea să fie însă întâlnirea cu Yolanda van den Herik, un superb model olandez, care i-a dăruit miliardarului adevărata bogăție: cei trei copii.

Surorile Hadid, predestinate pentru cariera de model

urorile Hadid au fost încă din copilărie îndrăgostite de camerele de fotografiat, așa că nu e de mirare că amândouă au decis să urmeze aceeași carieră, mai exact cea de fotomodele. Cele două surori au devenit rapid cel mai cunoscut și discutat duo din industria modei, iar acum sunt preferatele multor case de modă, printre care Versace și Gucci. Chiar dacă sunt fotografiate la un Fashion Week sau pe străzile de la Hollywood, surorile Hadid știu să atragă toate privirile.

Foarte importantă a fost și mâna de ajutor pe care le-a dat-o Yolanda copiilor ei, aceasta popularizându-i prin intermediul reality show-ului ei, The Real Housewives from Beverly Hills. În anul în care mama ei a debutat în reality show, deloc întâmplător, Gigi a dat și ea lovitura, primind un contract de la IMG Models, care a propulsat-o pe scenele celor mai în vogă show-uri de modă. Astfel, Gigi a ajuns să defileze pentru Victorias Secret, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier, Desigual, Michael Kors, Max Mara, apărând, de asemenea, și pe nenumărate coperte de reviste.
