Pe podium au ajuns rochii lungi și simple, complet nepretențioase, cu excepția unor puncte de strălucire în jurul decolteului, deoarece dantela a fost la fel de simplă. Simplitatea tăieturii a lăsat toată atenția asupra detaliilor, cum ar fi tweed și pânză neagră strălucitoare, precum cerul nopții.

Louis Vuitton a invadat Muzeul Luvru

La Louis Vuitton, între timp, spectacolul a avut loc într-o curte a Muzeului Luvru din Paris, într-un decor creat de artistul Philippe Parreno. Făcut din pânze roșii mari, care se învârteau dintr-un punct central, invitații s-au simțit ca la un târg, cu oglinzi care reflectau publicul în sine.

Aparent inspirat de amploarea „petalelor” abstracte ale florilor lui Parreno sau invers, directorul de creație Nicolas Ghesquiere s-a jucat cu mărimea, trimițând look-uri împodobite cu detalii explodate în scară.

Spectacolul s-a deschis cu un aspect care avea tuburi căptușite în jurul gâtului și tampoane așezate pe șolduri. Au urmat rochiile scurte imprimate cu catarame și curele uriașe, în timp ce de gât atârnau fermoar mari, de mărimea evantaiului.

Modelele purtau poșete, de mărimea unui portofoliu de școală de artă, cu feronerie extinsă pentru a se potrivi, iar nasturii aveau dimensiunea unui coaster, cu curele așezate în jurul coastelor ca obis. Era remarcabil, dur și aproape agresiv, cu piele, buzunare exterioare boxy și o mulțime de feronerie strălucitoare.

Au existat și topuri tip babydoll și rochii din piele, acestea din urmă cu panglici uriașe înfiletate pe jumătate prin tiv, ca și în alte părți, tivurile rochiilor erau lăsate pe jumătate desfăcute și libere.
