Amina Muaddi și Rihanna, recompensate la Oscarurile pantofilor

Când designerul de încălțăminte „it”, Amina Muaddi, și cântăreața din Barbados, Rihanna, și-au unit forțele la începutul acestui an pentru o colaborare inedită, toată lumea s-a așteptat la ceva uimitor. A fost un parteneriat „blockbuster”!

Lansată în iulie, colecția capsulă a fost hitul verii. Constând din patru stiluri cu toc înalt realizate într-o serie de culori, pantofii s-au născut din sentimentul glamour înnăscut al Aminei cu priceperea mărcii Fenty pentru a identifica epitomul cool. Colaborarea a contribuit, de asemenea, la crearea unui nou sentiment de entuziasm pentru tocurile înalte, într-o perioadă în care majoritatea consumatorilor se orientau către moda casual.

Colaborarea este rezultatul unei prietenii care s-a născut din aprecierea reciprocă. Jahleel Weaver, stilistul Rihannei, a fost cel care a introdus prima dată vedeta în desenele lui Muaddi. După ce a cumpărat mai multe perechi pentru clientul său, Weaver i-a trimis lui Muaddi mesaje prin intermediul Instagram pentru a o felicita pentru lansarea mărcii.

De 34 de ani, premiile anuale FN Achievement Awards (denumite deseori „Oscarurile pantofilor”) celebrează vedetele stilului, cele mai bune povești de marcă, filantropii înfocați, talentele emergente și veteranii industriei.
