A$AP Rocky a purtat o centură cu bijuterii de 332.000 de dolari pentru a o susține pe Rihanna la Super Bowl

Fiind partenerul de viață de câțiva ani al Rihannei, rapperul A$AP Rocky știa că ochii vor fi ațintiți asupra lui la Super Bowl LVII și nu a ratat ocazia de a se îmbrăca pentru a impresiona. În timp ce Rihanna a furat inevitabil spectacolul cu prestația ei – și cu anunțul că ea și Rocky așteptau un al doilea copil – jacheta personalizată a rapperului Jeff Hamilton a fost apreciată datorită mesajului de pe spate. 

Cureaua lui, creație Alex Moss, avea un design din aur alb împânzit cu diamante și rubine, care a durat patru luni pentru a fi creat conform specificațiilor rapperului.  

Geaca din piele Jeff Hamilton a lui Rocky a fost în egală măsură pro-fotbal, Team Rihanna și patriotică, prezentând stele și dungi pe față și un orizont al orașului pe spate, suprapus cu o imagine a mâinii tatuate a Rihannei care susține o minge de fotbal.

Aceeași imagine cu mâna Rihannei ținând o minge de fotbal NFL a fost folosită pentru a-și anunța spectacolul în septembrie, iar NFL și-a semnalat aprobarea pentru alegerea modei a lui Rocky printr-un videoclip pe Instagram, care aruncă o privire mai atentă asupra designului său personalizat, subtitrând „Jacheta lui A$AP este totul."

Spre deosebire de jachetă, centura Alex Moss a lui Rocky nu a fost concepută special pentru Super Bowl, dar a fost cu toate acestea imposibil de ignorat. Potrivit unui interviu din 2022 cu TMZ , Rocky l-a căutat pe designer anul trecut pentru o curea personalizată și o cataramă proiectată manual, cu „GRIM”. Piesa a fost realizată manual în studioul de bijuterii Moss din New York, iar catarama este realizată din aur alb de 18k, cu diamante albe, diamante verzi, diamante negre și rubine, care descriu designul său, cu litere concepute pentru a arăta ca logo-ul Goosebumps al lui RL Stine pentru „G” pe Hypebeast și ca sigla Monster Energy pentru „M”, pe Complex. Cureaua în sine este un design monogramă Gucci, acoperit cu pietre colorate, iar întreaga creație a durat patru luni pentru a fi finalizată și l-a costat pe rapper 322.000 de dolari.
